New Network Adapters Deliver High-Performance Connectivity
LITE network adapters for RSTi-EP I/O systems provide powerful PROFINET and Modbus communication in a small form factor.
Emerson has announced the release of new, compact LITE network adapters for the PACSystems™ RSTi-EP remote I/O system. Bringing higher performance in half the space of traditional network adapters, the new LITE network adapters deliver remote, real-time diagnostics to help simplify machine design and maintenance.
Two LITE network adapters are available—one for use with PROFINET and another for Modbus. The network adapters are plug-and-play capable, making them easy to install and maintain in existing RSTi-EP products. They offer high availability and intuitive integration with existing systems.

Slice I/O
Slice I/O modules are typically deployed in industrial environments with limited space, high power requirements and a need for ruggedized housing that can withstand harsh conditions, such as temperature extremes and high vibration. Slice I/O options offer modular, “build as you go” flexibility that can operate with any PROFINET PAC controller. Easy to configure, operate and upgrade, Slice I/O helps process large data flows at high speed while keeping the application architecture within its designated footprint.
